Why hasn't Kamala Harris resigned her Senate seat and allowed it to be filled? The media has called the election and Harris is no longer doing her Senate job, so why is she not moving on from that position so it can be filled by someone who has the time to do the job?

Obviously the answer is that because she is a current member of the senate intelligence committee, she already gets intelligence briefings independent of Trump's weak and sore loser decision to freeze Joe out. Therefore her remaining a Senator could be key for the incoming Biden administration to have access to current intelligence.
