(To those who answered the question, thank you.)
We are on our late 60s, no debt and a significant amount of savings plus pensions. Our savings have increased this year due to limiting of travel. My thinking before the election that no matter who won the election that tax rates have to increase due to the amount of spending done by the government and that will be spent in the next year or so to "fix" things.
We do not trust that others will take care of us, so will continue to save what we can to offset what I foresee to be more tax burden in the future.

Perhaps that's because people who were well off to begin with know how to manage money. Trump isn't responsible for your poor money management skills. I'm sure you're familiar with the expression "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." It's quite apropos to this discussion. All the wealth re-distribution in the world won't make people with poor money management skills become smart with money. They'll **** it away in no time and be right back to where they started. It's human nature, something many liberal/progressives seem unable to grasp.

Guys, the OP is a bot programed to sow discord and divisiveness. I would think a computer would actually know what Socialism is and who our next president will be. But, it adds to the authenticity.

I researched the effects of Biden's repeal of Trump's tax cuts. Here you go...

Single --- Married Filing Jointly --- Tax Rate:

$0 – $9,875 --- $0 – $19,750 --- 10%, no change
$9,876 – $40,125 --- $19,751 – $80,250 --- 12% reverts back to 15%, a 25% increase
$40,126 – $85,525 --- $80,251 – $171,050 --- 22% reverts back to 25%, a 13.6% increase
$85,526 – $163,300 --- $171,051 – $326,600 ---24% reverts back to 28%, a 16.7% increase
$163,301 – $207,350 --- $326,601 – $414,700 --- 32% reverts back to 33%, a 3% increase
$207,351 – $518,400 --- $414,701 – $622,050 --- 35% reverts back to 35%, no change
$518,401+ --- $622,051+ --- 37% reverts back to 39.6%, a 7% increase

Surprise! Surprise! Look who gets beat up the most when Biden and the Dems repeal Trump's tax cuts, as promised at every campaign stop/rally/interview. I hope those who voted for it enjoy being reamed. It's not as if you weren't forewarned by Biden the candidate, himself.
If trump did “so great” as his rapid cultists push this would have been an EASY landslide victory against a guy really has no productive record despite being around 50 years in government. But since trump is gone I. 2 months, I guess reality doesn’t match the “trump cultist everyone be made out like fiends financially” theory

You Republicans are cracking me up. You said all this same stuff prior to Obama’s inauguration. It was nothing but bitterness then and it’s nothing but bitterness now.

Then after his inauguration, you didn’t change anything. You kept living life EXACTLY the way you did after McCain and Romney lost. LMAO!!

Well if you have such a comfortable nest egg, what’s with all the whining then? You’ve already said that you don’t really spend your money anyway.

You're assuming Biden voters were smart enough to understand how repealing Trump's tax cuts would impact them. They're not.

Anyway, what does any of your post have to do with Biden's promise to give the working and middle classes a 25% tax increase by repealing Trump's $1.9 trillion tax cuts?

Since you're not objecting to that 25% tax increase, can we presume you're good with it?

Open your wallets wider, working and middle classes... Here comes Biden to take 25% more of your hard-earned money!

Biden and Harris are even worse than Obama, if that is possible.

Problem is that it's true. They make the things Obama did look like child's play.

Oh for crying out loud. Biden hasn't taken office yet. He will probably have a Republican Senate to deal with, and the House is almost evenly divided. If any extreme Socialist laws are passed, it will partially be the fault of the Republicans.

Besides I thought Trump was going prove all the voter fraud and be re-elected.
