Of course they want to trash Space Force. It was a Trump idea. We shouldn't be surprised if Biden does toss it in the trash which will be applauded by the Lefty media and then a week later he will come out with his own version called "Space Army" and the Left will applaud him for his brilliance...
Biden/Harris will be working hard to erase the last 4 years and get us back on track with the Obama agenda of Fundamentally changing America.. Hold on tight folks it is going to be a bumpy ride.
There was a space arm to the military before the "Space Force", and there will be one afterward. The question is whether it needs an independent command structure. Back before there was an Air Force, it was part of the US Army and didn't become an independent branch until 1947 -- after World War II was over and tens of thousands of aircraft had been built and flown. I think once the space military component becomes sufficiently large, it will make sense to have its own branch. Right now though I don't think we're close to that need. Creating a Space Force was premature and primary an ego trip for DJT. It represents an inefficiency and should be folded back into the previous command structure.
Being strong militarily does not mean war. It actually prevents war because others are less likely to mess with you.
If China ever becomes far stronger than us militarily, then we will be at their mercy. We are already approaching that economically but once they are militarily, then it’s over for us as they will dictate everything we can or can’t do.
The liberals do not understand that. They seem to be raised to believe that the world is loving and kind.
... OR, the Chinese and/or other nations has hoodwinked them into pushing America to stand down our military efforts.

So, you are panicking because a 'group' sent Biden a memo (a wish list) which included cutting the 'space force'....... All righty then.
It is typical of Trump loyalists to take a comment make by one person, or in this case a 'wish list' from a group and then pretend that is what Biden is going to do.
Anyone can express their wishes to a president, but it really doesn't mean anything. I think Biden will listen to Pentagon on these issues.
In the other hand, Trump WOULD have scrapped it if if was founded during Obama era because he said he was on a mission to undo everything Obama did, because.........well, he didn't say, he just said it was his mission.
