has been suspended from Twitter for 12 hours. She understands the WH press release & agrees with it. She is staying the course to prove the massive deliberate election fraud that robbed #WeThePeople of our votes for President Trump & other Republican candidates.
As Marlow has noted, Powell needs standing to bring suit. Trump or the campaign have a legally cognizable claim (if they have evidence) and so she would be able to bring suit on behalf of Trump or the campaign. She can't simply bring siot "on behalf of the people." I suppose in theory she could find a client in a state who claims to have been injured by his or her vote being thrown out, but then ther case would only involve that person's single vote. I suppose she could try to go for a class action case, but she would need a class represnetative (such as the voter I mentioned) but then getting certification as a class is time consuming and difficult.
I too would be curious as to the identity of her client that gives her standing to file suit in connection with the election if it is not Trump or the campaign.
Her Dominion and algorithm and software and international crazy stuff was even too crazy for Rudy G and Don the Con, apparently. That's saying something.
Giuliani, Ellis and Powell all appeared together at a news conference Thursday, when they made a range of baseless accusations about the integrity of the election. Powell lobbed some of the most convoluted claims, alleging a conspiracy that involved “communist money,” the late Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez and an algorithm favoring Democrats.
At the start of Thursday’s news conference, Giuliani said he, Ellis, Powell and other attorneys present were “representing President Trump and we’re representing the Trump campaign.” Ellis introduced the group as “an elite strike force team that is working on behalf of the president and the campaign"
^^^But that was 72 hours ago and today's script from the WH soap opera, As Trumpworld Turns, includes a rewrite from Giuiliani and Ellis which abruptly separates themselves from her. From "elite strike force team member" to "coffee woman" in under 3 days. Yikes.
Can you imagine that...she was too crazy for this team. I didn't know that was possible.

President Donald Trump appears to have cut ties with Sidney Powell, a key member of his legal team who also represents former national security adviser Michael Flynn in his long-running attempt to unravel a guilty plea for lying about his 2016 contacts with Russia.
The abrupt shake-up came in a terse Sunday-evening statement from the Trump campaign that offered no explanation for Powell’s removal.
“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own,” Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani and campaign lawyer Jenna Ellis said in the statement. “She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”
Powell had made headlines in recent weeks for her increasingly outrageous and unsupported claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election, repeatedly vowing to “release the kraken” of evidence, only to refuse to produce it when asked by reporters.
wow, just how far gone do you have to be to have Donald Trump and Rudy Guiliani want to distance themselves from you because you lack any credibility whatsoever?
Of course, the fact that they were lauding her just a couple of days ago doesn't speak well for Team Trump's credibility either

She has Never been on the Trump Campaign Payroll.
She made that clear 2 weeks ago, during an interview, stating she had created a legal fund page to support her go at it alone, to save the Republic.
She was never hired to be fired. A clarification is all it was, because they were calling her Trumps attorney.
She is still filing on Georgia this coming week.
We will see. As discussed in another thread I'm curious who she is representing if not Trump or the campaign. You can't bring suit in court without standing so she will need a client that has a cognizable claim in the dispute. It's possible she has one other than Trump but I've been trying to brainstorm how that would work. The most strightforward thing would be for her to represent Trump or the campaign, which she could do pro bono if she chose to do so. But she can't simply file suit - it needs to be on behalf of someone who has been damaged. So it could be a Georgia voter in theory, but that would only impact that voter's vote. The other possibility is a clas action but that would need a class representative (at leats one Georgia voter) and would neeed to go through the cumbersome process of class certification. It doesn;t make sense.
YES. This is true.
It's ALWAYS been true.
But since some of you did not understand that, they issued a clarification statement.
And here you all are, STILL NOT GETTING IT.
both trump and giuliani had described powell as being part of the legal team just this past week.
