There won't be any marches or lay downs in the street. There won't be any protest rallies and there certainly will not be any riots but instead we will hunker down and try to hold onto what we have and hold dear.
I expected to hear from some friends and family that dumped me because I dared to have preferred Trump over Hillary in 2016 and now that Trump is out they can be back in my life again. I haven't received any calls yet and frankly I do not want to. Seeing their daily anti Trump rants on facebook is all I need to know.
Do not wish for Biden to fail because that will mean Harris steps in and that is one scary prospect for America. At least Biden can bring a sense of centering to us if that is even possible.
