"Today, the United States is closer than ever to ending nearly two decades of war and welcoming in an Afghan-owned, Afghan-led peace process to achieve a political settlement and a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire," said Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller
Yeah they are going to hate that but all to soon they will send the troops, they pretend to love today protecting the capital, into another conflict to be butchered by their Islamic terrorist friends !!!
Waiting until your last days is purely symbolic and nothing more. Could have been done years ago.
EDIT: It's not even a complete withdrawal lmao, it really is symbolic and nothing more, we're still going to be there.
Really, Trump has been the first President in 40 years to start no new wars and has made continual efforts to bring troops home and been faced by opposition on both sides of the aisle every time he has tried. Too many are invested in the power and wealth war brings. obama promised the same and then proceeded to start a couple new wars and destroy Llbya which led to the re-emergence of a large slave trade. Trump has many faulted but given a few more years we would finally be out of the middle east. Biden is too entrenched in the old school Washington which desires War and the wealth and power it brings to big business. Trump is not a moral or good person but I could live with that, I hope Biden voters can live with the body bags when they start coming back. Although I imagine most won't even care and the media will blame it on Trump somehow.
As usual, ... Trump has no idea what he's doing....
Remember how Trump professed his love for the North Korea dictator???
Today's news...
North Korea unveils new submarine-launched missile
"Over the last four years, Pyongyang has had an erratic relationship with the US under President Donald Trump's administration.
Mr Kim and Mr Trump engaged in mutual insults and threats of war before an unprecedented summit in Singapore in 2018 and declarations of love by the outgoing US leader.
Despite the apparent warming of relations, little concrete progress was made on negotiations over North Korea's nuclear programme and a second summit in Hanoi in 2019 broke down after the US refused Pyongyang's demands for sanctions relief."

I'm sorry, but what party, who claims to love the troops started a bunch of wars in the middle east, and sent those men and women over there for the last 18 years?
