Spare me the outrage.

Here is the difference IMO. The Democrats don't pound their chest screaming "law and order" and "drain the swamp" like the Republicans do around here. When Trump pardons terrible people that don't deserve it we point out the hypocrisy and you give us a whataboutism. Everytime I think the Republican party has hit rock bottom they find a way to prove me wrong.

Another dozen or so. So how many of Trump's campaign to be pardoned.

Worst POTUS in the history of our nation.
Hopefully when he and the others are subpoenaed in the cases against Trump, they will lie and get sent to prison again. And they will lie because, like Trump, it's in their DNA and they can't help it.

Trump sure is creating a bigger swamp of corruption in DC with his pardons. Over 60% of his pardons have been for people that have close connections to him. Many have been quid pro quo gifts for people that did not fully cooperate with law enforcement in order to protect Trump. Others include mass murderers of children that worked for the firm of the brother of Trump's education secretary DeVos. While some past presidents such as Clinton and G HW Bush have made questionable pardons, Trump has already far exceeded them in numbers and bad ethics and he still has four weeks left with the expectation for many more. Trump's use of the pardon power has been the most corrupt of any president to date.

Trump's message is that people close to him are above the law and not subject to justice like the rest of Americans. Justice under Trump is not equal but instead based on who you know.

President Bill Clinton pardoned a domestic terrorist named Susan Lisa Rosenberg who was an active member of the May 19th Communist Organization a revolutionary group that sought to overthrow the U.S. government. M19CO provided support to an offshoot of the Black Liberation Army, including armored truck robberies, and later engaged in bombings of government buildings. Rosenberg was an accomplice in the 1979 prison escape of Assata Shakur and in the 1981 Brink's robbery that resulted in the deaths of two police officers and a guard, although she was never charged in either case. Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years' imprisonment on weapons and explosives charges. She spent 16 years in prison until her sentence was commuted to time served by President Bill Clinton on January 20, 2001, his final day in office. As of 2020, Rosenberg serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Thousand Currents, a non-profit foundation that sponsors the fundraising and does administrative work for the Black Lives Matter Global Network, among other clients.

I just thought I’d point that out. I might not agree with all of Trump's pardons but pardoning a domestic terrorist like Rosenberg is unconscionable.

Closer to 90% have ties to Trump in some way, pardoning murderers, congressmen and even Kushner's father. Never saw anything like this, there have been some transgressions by presidents in the past but this is already a record and still 25 days to go.

Certainly an area for reform going forward to prevent presidents from pardoning political connections. These pardons should be strictly limited to the lists that come out of the DOJ clemency office and meet certain criteria.

Hypocrites.

Here's news for you: all presidents issue pardons. You leftists are piddling now because it's Trump doing it. Get over it.

I'll bet anyone $100 right now that if demented geriatric Biden issues any pardons, providing he lives that long, none of you losers will say a word about it.
President Obama had staff study and produce cases of convicted people who had been sent to jail, usually under three strikes you’re out policies, for lower level drug crimes. He pardoned many who had compiled records of good behavior while incarcerated. Many of those had been convicted of crimes no longer being prosecuted.

Compare Obama’s compassionate use of his pardoning power with Trump’s use. He pardons cronies, using his power like a mob boss, which is how he sees himself.

To be pardoned, you have to have been convicted. No one doubts the crimes Obama’s pardoned criminals committed; likewise, no one should doubt the criminality of the former high rollers Trump pardons. Also note, Obama received nothing from his granting of pardons; Trump has received loyalty and favors from his group of pardoned criminals.

But we have had four years to witness the actions of the most corrupt and incompetent president in our history.

This past year, we have had unprecedented American deaths because of the mismanagement of a deadly pandemic, which even now, he ignores, as deaths continue to rise.

Yeah he and his wife are also swingers like Stone and his wife. The Manafort daughters knew all about it and seemed to think their father pressured their mother into it. So gross.

You do know that Barrack Obama took hundreds of thousands in illegal foreign campaign contributions right? The 2008 Obama website that took credit card donations didn't verify the name on the account or the address of the cardholder. All it verified was the account number and PIN. Hence you had donations from "Mickey Mouse", "Clark Kent", etc. When many of the cards were traced, they traced back to Europe. There were other illegal contributions and again in 2012. Did anyone go to jail over that?

Did you read about the number of criminals NOT prosecuted in the Obama Administration? Starting with Eric Holder who lied to Congress under oath and was allowed to "correct" the lie. James Clapper lied to Congress about spying on the American people and never prosecuted; Loretta Lynch held a secret meeting with the spouse of a target in an investigation and wasn't charged, Lois Lerner broke a dozen laws at the IRS and was never prosecuted.

The corrupt cadre in the FBI, starting with FBI Director James Comey and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who were both referred for prosecution by the Inspector General, but did not get prosecuted. That is without even getting into Bruce Orr or Peter Stzcok.

Hillary Clinton lied under oath, destroyed evidence under subpoena, and illegally handled classified information and was never prosecuted. Clinton's two lawyers, Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson were granted immunity before it was known what information they had.

The Clinton IT staffers who actually destroyed the hard drives were never prosecuted. Clinton's aide Huma Abedin was never prosecuted for having classified information on her personal lap top. The list of people from the Obama Administration who were never prosecuted despite credible evidence that a crime was committed is endless.

317 indictments at last count in four years, compared to runner-up Nixon's 74. That's over four times as many as the next biggest crooked president in history.

For those who are keeping a running tally, Obama/Biden didn't score even one in eight years.
