All this BS we might as well be against honey, too. It's the number one cause of obesity, bee stings, and radical postings on internet sites! According to humble and kind(tm) 2020

So the actual black mother didn't have an issue with her husband not being in the picture but I'm supposed to?
Well, I don't know what was going through that mother's mind. However, as someone who was born and raised in a 2 parent home, I can understand where the outrage is coming from. As a Black man, seeing all the other families as intact families while the Black family is showing with no father, it isn't something I'd want to see. The only thing I'd get out of it is "this is how the world sees Black people".
I thought about something. Back in 2013, Cheerios did a commercial featuring an interracial couple. There were many people who were upset about it. I wonder how many people who keep saying "quit being offended" feel the same way about the Cheerios commercial. I really have to ask because I wonder if this outrage really is really about being scared of "the woke".

But is one cosmetic company ad speaking for “how the world sees Black people?” Or is it just one company, one advertising agency...with just a few employees responsible for the ad? And again, why are we acting like a single mom of any color is less than one who is partnered? For the longest time, society did attach a stigma to single motherhood. Haven’t we moved beyond that? We shouldn’t expect/require any woman of any color to have to have a partner to be respected, valued, and have a place at the table or in an ad.
I’m not sure if those four photos are the only four in the campaign, or whether there are more, but I thought it was so weird that every family has two kids! I’m an only child. There is a stigma to that. I don’t feel represented/valued...like that my family was “less than” having only one child. Where does it end? And I really do wonder whether there are other photos, because where are the same sex couples and people with disabilities? And people of different sizes and shapes?
