They are incompatible positions. If he was so hell bent on holding out because he truly believed he had a shot of overturning the election, why stop now. It's a convoluted message he's sending. First let's hold out and make it difficult for Biden, then go ahead with a huge "but". Not playing this out for legal team to prove their point (which they never would anyways) shows how bad a move it was to hold off in the first place. Just my .02.
He will launch a news network to rival OAN/Breitbart next year. He needs to keep his base angry enough that he can get money from them once he does that.

If he hadn't of made some of the policy choices he did, I'd be convinced he was just a globalist plant there to try to undermine the republican party in what was a failed attempt. Most people who voted for him and voted for republicans in congressional elections can see the globalist elites pulling the strings but don't know what to do to stop them...voting Republican is all they can think of...
