Because there is a Democrat nominee and a Republican nominee each and every year. They run against each other for the office. You actually think Harris/Biden will run unopposed in 2024? If so, why?

I have no doubt after 4 years of Harris/Biden, the country will be looking for Hope & Change. We seem to be stuck on a pendulum, swaying left, then right.

If Trump says he's running in 2024, I believe he is. at least right now at this moment.
Until I see or he says anything different, I'll continue to take his words seriously. I've found most people do announce their most serious intentions most of the time.
In before any Democrats and their media. It won't be Trump, but it doesn't matter. Democrats and the Media called Reagan, Bush, McCain & Romney the same thing. It matters not who runs. M Obama could run as a Republican and Democrats & their media would pull the same crap.
Don't forget that the first generic polling for 2024 shows Joe Biden ahead by 20 points!

Yawn back at ya. The country as a whole has moved so far left that they try and call Hussein Obama a centrist. The demonic party is socialist and moving leftward. You just aren't old enough to remember that in the 60's the democrats and republicans had much more in common than they do now.
