we've increased 30% per week. If this continues we will be 16K a dead a day in 8 weeks when Biden takes over. Fortunately its unlikely to continue at that rate as people WILL start to comprehend this is serious. I suspect it will only be about 6,000 dying a day. We could take it down if everyone wore masks and didn't gather for thanksgiving, but way too many are all "but muh freedoms to cause death to others!"
You can pick some things that Trump could have done better, but no way can you say Biden wouldn’t have messed up.
First, Biden would have let the Chinese flights keep coming, because like all liberals, he’s more concerned with the appearance of racism than doing what is in the best interest of Americans. It would have been exponentially worse.
And second, no way could Biden - a lifelong bureaucrat who never really accomplished anything of note - have come up with Operation Warp Speed. We’d still be a year away from a vaccine.
I mean think about it - the Trump Administration had a vaccine developed for a novel coronavirus in less than a year, and the Obama/Biden Administration couldn’t even get a website developed in FOUR years! What a disaster that was! You think they could have done better with the virus? Ha.
Trumps ban on China flights was a hoax Chinese tourist were not fleeing China to come to the US when it first started. The people who were fleeing China were American Citizens because they didn't want to get stuck in China under lockdown in some hotel. The virus rode American Citizens back to the US since there was no test, or even a quarantine for them they went directly into the US population started spreading it. Trump failed and keeping the virus out of the US could anyone keep it from entering the US probably not. We could have had testing at the airports and border at least send people home tell them to stay in doors for 2 weeks. Not all would have followed the orders but many would have.
The vaccine would have been produced as quickly as possible anyway. Fauci said early on what the time line would be and has been proven correct about 18 months at least.
Very sad to say the all due to a so called Wartime President that did nothing besides worry about himself and play on Twitter and the golf course everyday.

Enough of Trump stopped travel from China. He didn’t fully stop travel, there were people still flying in from China. This also has been debunked as making any impact.
The pandemic hit a surge when trump closed off European travel without a plan. He gave a few days for people to get home from Europe before flights would stop. Panicked Americans flew home to crowded airports, no screening, no distancing.
This would have never happened under Biden. Trump’s failed to plan and communicate to the American people.
We could be in such a different place right now with real leadership.

1) The ban on Chinese flights was not a hoax. While American citizens flew back, we still stopped non-citizens. And you say there we should have quarantined them? Democrats would have screamed to high heavens. Nobody took it seriously back then! Pelosi was still telling people to party in Chinatown!
2) And you’re right about the vaccine taking 18 months under Biden, which is what Fauci predicted. Are you so unwilling to give Trump credit that you can’t see that due to his Operation Warp Speed, we cut the time to 9 months? Think of all the lives that will be saved due to the amazing speed of that whereas under Biden, we’d still have people dying for an additional 9 months!
The reason Trump lost this election is because the media manipulated gullible people into thinking Trump was a failure, when he actually was a great success. Not a single person died because of lack of a ventilator, due to Trump’s orchestration of PPE development (he even had car manufacturers buildings vents!), nor did anyone die from lack of hospital space.
The virus was a horrible, HORRIBLE thing - and the blame lies on China (and the WHO, who downplayed it). Yet the media, trying for four years to get rid of Trump, seized this as the opportunity to blame him for it. Combined with their hiding Biden’s corruption and dementia, and high-tech censoring any conservative voice, AND the fraud that went on Election Night, well.....you got one step closer to destroying America.
