The vast majority of the 260,000 people who had died would have likely died this year anyway, even if there were no Covid. Though some/many may have lived just a few months longer if not for Covid.

"the total decrease in deaths by other causes almost exactly equals the increase in deaths by COVID-19"

The other diseases...

Heart Diseases, Cancers, Chronic Respiratory, Cerebrovascular, Alzheimer, Diabetes, Flu & Pneumonia, Nephritis, Other Respiratory, Septicemia, Not Classified

Thank you SO much for posting this! (Repped you.)

And yet, unfortunately, I doubt if this will change anything -- and I would bet the restrictions will only get worse under Biden/Harris.

Keep in mind that the lockdowns have also killed people.
That's what is amazing......2018 really did have more deaths

...what the study argues is this

less people died of heart attacks...more people died of covid
less people died of cancer.....more people died of covid

for every number that went down on one side.....that same number went up on the other side

...but the end result was exactly the same

PS: how many families within those numbers that have lost their jobs. going hungry and are being kicked out of their homes, do to no fault of their own, do you think would agree?

The media, globalists and American left successfully shut down the greatest modern economy this nation has ever had, over nothing.

I love it when people post "John Hopkins Study" and then use the Gateway Pundit as a reliable source for interpretation. That is not a study, it's a student newsletter from Johns Hopkins by an economics major but I don't see the title claim there either.

How about posting the actual study directly from the CDC or Johns Hopkins that says "relatively no effect on deaths".

Y'all aren't making sense. I haven't exactly stopped believing in the efficacy of the scientific method.

That's right, bud. They pulled off the greatest hoax in the history of the human race, causing nations across the globe to shut down our economy. Cue evil laughter.

There is an effect. More people died from covid and fewer people died from other diseases, about the same amount of people.
