Right now, there isn't much change because neo-Morning Star is not in office yet. When he gets there (or rather, Commeela), just as with the previous eight years before Trump came along, my life will get progressively worse due to the overly intrusive government that will, in just a couple months, rise from the ashes of the Obama years, reincarnated and leading us to the "promised land" of tyranny (yes, they've been promising us tyranny for the past four years--now it's time to deliver).
You want sanity from a government that declared a state of emergency (in 1933) and permanently bypassed the constitution?
That confiscated / liberated / stole all the privately owned gold money -and- criminalized the possession of lawful money by "free" Americans (10 years in prison for violation)?
That lost a supreme court ruling yet the court ruled against the winner ever receiving his due (Perry v. United States 294 U.S. 330 (1935)
That enacted a "voluntary" socialist program while misleading everyone that it was mandatory (FICA aka Social Security Act of 1935).

In my opinion, the 'American patriot' has been neutered...we have been systematically turned into obedient, compliant little subjects, example, Govt tells us we cannot own automatic weapons, (without jumping thru all sorts of costly and complicated hoops)...and people OBEY AND COMPLY FULLY, we are taxed for just about everything they can dream up and manage to justify...like our vehicles, we pay sales tax when we buy it, tax every year on it value, tax on the license, the plate, fees for our license, fuel to power to car is taxed, parts, repair, etc are all taxed, heck, Im surprised they are not taxing the air the engines use yet! This applies to just about every other aspect our daily lives as well.
People are so comfortable and concerned in their own little worlds, they dont DARE do anything that may result in their arrest or imprisonment, even if that means, allowing the govt to run all over us and abuse or take away our constitutional rights...as long as we can go to the store and buy a 75" HD TV in our sleek SUVs, no one wants their quality of life to change! LOL
Its really sad, the founding fathers would be disgusted at what the people have become today.
