It sure would be hard to start a thread saying how great Trump's response was to coronavirus when his task force was a complete failure.

Went from denial to calling it a hoax to calling it nothing different than the flu when all along he knew what a horrific outcome it was going to be.

Besides #DiaperDon, what president does that???

[quote=movin2Reston;59791672]Here’s a look back at how Trump botched America’s coronavirus response from the very beginning.

Image the history books, they should just reference this.

But the stockpile was never fully replenished. In February, the stockpile had only 30 million masks, according to Senate testimony by Alex Azar, the secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), who also said the country would need at least 300 million.

And just think, the anti trumpers voted in someone who was partially responsible for not replenishing PPE....

While Trump isn't wrong to suggest he inherited a depleted stockpile of some medical supplies —the stockpile of masks, for example, was depleted and not replenished by the Obama administration

Default President or Governors to blame?

Unfortunately the bias media portrayed the President's response in a negative way. For all those that are so critical, what should have been done?

The president has the powers articulated in Article II of the Constitution. "But the Congress, the judiciary, and the states also have power in the rest of the Constitution (particularly in Article I, Article III, and the 10th Amendment ."

I remember when Trump wanted to shut down travel and businesses in the beginning. DiBlasio and Cuomo resisted for five days encouraging people to go out to eat. Pelosi was telling people to go to Chinatown. The Democratic Governors were screaming he had no right to tell them what to do, only the state can determine what to do, which was true. So really, whose fault is it, if anyone?

Absolutely not true. The countries that locked down are doing relatively well. The country that moaned and complained about lockdowns but didn't actually have lockdowns is doing poorly and has one of the highest death rates in the world. Oh my, what a surprise. (Not really)
Lock down everyone over a single case?

He could have encouraged mask wearing starting in April when the CDC began to recommend them.

What is Biden’s plan?

Declare martial law and demand people stay home?

Try to institute an unconstitutional mask mandate?

Use mass surveillance to “contact trace”?

Please explain

You could always read the Biden Harris plan for coronavirus, but I understand that reading can be hard for people like you.
