People have to understand. It is the CCP, what it stands for and perpetuates.
The party has become increasingly aggressive over the past years, increasing military budget, gradually and continuously pushing boundaries, having eyes set on the target. Neither the US, the rest of Asia, nor Europe are doing anything remotely similar at the present time.

most are half truths, spun to present them as an aggressive nation, whereas our govt (american) is no better, and arguably worse.
we have nearly 1000 bases worldwide, with many surrounding their country. who is the belligerent nation?
how would we react if they had a similar amount in the caribbeans, canada, mexico, central america, etc.?
the more I learn about our country, past and present, the more I believe america bad. we have just been propagandized to believe in american exceptionalism and that we are the global defenders of peace and democracy, when in fact the opposite is true.
we start wars, arm opposing factions and foreign countries with weapons from our MIC, overturn democracies because we do not like their democratically elected leaders, institute regime changes and coups through color revolutions, assassinate foreign leaders, peddle drugs into our country... and this is just the tip of the iceberg of what's been revealed to us that they can't hide. I'm sure there is a lot more than is unclassified.
Unfortunately about 1/2 of America is on their side.

The map is wrong, there are no US bases in Ireland, and the RoI is not a member of NATO.
They are very irresponsible with their culture and greed, it's not our fault they have so many people they cannot take care of, feeding including, 640 fishing vessels are parked in the coasts of Chile, Peru and Ecuador taking all our fish, they turn off their gps and wait to be dark to continue stealing our resources.

300 Chinese Fishing Ships Off South America Coast Raise Food Security Worries
Ecuador's navy confirmed a large Chinese fishing fleet of roughly 300 vessels is moving away from the Galapagos Islands and is now operating in international waters off Peru.
The Ecuadorian commander of naval operations, Rear Admiral Daniel Ginez, said this week that the Chinese vessels are now "in offshore waters off the exclusive economic zone of Peru."
He added that this year's fleet was larger compared with those of previous years.
"With such a large number of fishing boats, we have the risk that certain species are diminished," Ginez cautioned.
Totally Agree - the Chinese should not be fishing in someone else's economic zone, and they should abide by international maritime law as well as ant quotas that have been pout in place.
The South American countries are right to unite in order to try to stop this.
As fore the left I thought they were all about the environment and it should be noted that environmental groups Greenpeace and Oceana have repeatedly warned of the growing presence of Chinese fishing fleets in the area.

a "base" doesn't necessarily mean it has a runway, and houses military vehicles. if it is supporting US military operations outside US borders, it is a base.
