It shouldn’t be made mandatory for everyone, but I think it will be required in many circumstances. Any kind of plane train or bus travel. Attending a live concert or sport event. Going to any kind of school or college.

As a result many people will de facto be required to get it.

No concerns about Covid so I will not be getting a shot. Just my opinion, but all the slinging around of the word "mandatory" is just a precautionary measure based on fear rather than statistics. Should be optional as the risk is minimal.

Mandatory as in holding someone down and jabbing a needle in their arm? No.

Mandatory as in consequences and limitations for people who do not get vaccinated - like barring access to schools, college, travel, employment? Absolutely.

Taking away someone’s ability to earn a living or access an education if they refuse is pretty forceful if you ask me.

No it won’t be mandatory. Personally at 66 I will get the vaccine because I have asthma and hbp. Everyone needs to take their own situation into account.

You already can’t attend most schools without a whole bunch of vaccinations. This would just be one more added to the list.

Is it worth taking a vaccine that has been developed at warp speed and side effects unknown.

Thoughts? Who should be made to take vaccine? Side effects worth risk?
No. If you are immune to COVID, why would you care if someone else chooses not to be?

Should it be made into law, that people with above average blood pressure should be forced, by law, to take blood pressure medicine?

Should people with cancer be forced to take radiation treatment against their will?

Should people with allergies to bees be forced to carry an EpiPen, against their will?

Where does this type of thinking end?

Your high blood pressure, cancer, or bee allergy do not affect other people. If too few people take the vaccine there is no hope of achieving solid herd immunity so that restrictions can gradually be lifted.
