I'm actually very surprised. First of all, since Barr is in charge of the Justice Department, I would have thought that he would have quashed any potential investigation that might have negative implications for Trump. Secondly, although there are many things that I could see Trump doing, I just cannot see him as being so stupid as to sell pardons and get caught for it. He could wind up having NY State and the Feds battling over where he's going to serve his time. Perhaps the investigation doesn't implicate Trump or anyone he cares about (meaning his children and son in law).

Junior and/or Eric are that stupid. But there are other candidates.

I'll wait for the facts, which are not present at the moment.

After the Marc Rich pardon, the bar for "pay for pardon" being a crime is EXTREMELY high.

There is a lawyer involved as facilitator of this scheme, I wonder if it's Rudy.

Rudy Giuliani was not above marketing his own security firm worldwide on the basis of his access to Trump. He definitely capitalized on his connections for big bucks.

Let's see how it plays out.

Why are you wondering?

Have you not seen the redacted document?

What does a pandemic have to do with anything?

Someone tried to bribe Trump and it's his fault? GTFO.

Social media. I don't know why people post crimes on social media.

It would be if he solicited and / or accepted that bribe. It's Donald, after all, who is in the position to hand out pardons.
