actually I didn't know anything about Singapore politics. I guess a one party system makes a 2 party system seem better.

They will never accept him after the last 4 years, moderates switch parties but that is pretty rare. There is no way he will ever join the democratic [party.

Actually if trump left the GOP and started his own party, lets say the Patriot Party, it would be the best shot we've ever had in braking the 2 party system. Be prepared though for there never being a national elected candidate from either party for over a decade.

That is what it took to win an election, republicans lost the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 elections and they would have lost in 2016 without Trump. The are trending down.

Trump if he leaves the GOP, he is gonna go third party. Honestly this would be for the best. Remove the TEA Party from the GOP.
