"ISRIB May Have Wide-Ranging Implications for Neurological Disease". "may" also includes "may not". This sounds like a pitch for funding.

Note - someone please move this to health and wellness so we don't have so many political references. Biden - Trump! BIDEN-TRUMP!! Does it have to dominate every thread?
Note - the whole point of posting it here is for people to be able to make all the political references they like.

Why on earth would anyone object to something like this being funded?

Where did you happen to see it? I only saw it because I follow medical news for my work and was sent a link to the UCSF press release. There are stories now in the Daily Mail and RT but still nothing on Google from any American media outlet. Seems very odd...

Maybe, he'll also recall:

-The driver involved in his ex-wifes fatal crash wasn't drunk, or even at fault in the crash.

-He got caught plagerizing a speech he made, so he shouldn't do that again.

-Who Tara Reade was and what he did to her.

-That he supported racist politicians in years past
And justice will be had on that day!

I would pay to see Creepy Feeble Joe hobble his way through a maze. He would probably end up in his basement.

Let me toss a conspiracy theory out there. Here's the beginning of the abstract from this study which was published on Tuesday:

Quote:
With increased life expectancy age-associated cognitive decline becomes a growing concern, even in the absence of recognizable neurodegenerative disease. The integrated stress response (ISR) is activated during aging and contributes to age-related brain phenotypes. We demonstrate that treatment with the drug-like small-molecule ISR inhibitor ISRIB reverses ISR activation in the brain...

Joe Biden seems on course to enter the White House, but he's not there yet. What could still stop him? Well... what would happen if everyone in America read those first two sentences and the whole country started discussing age-associated cognitive decline?

Nothing. what would happen to Trumps? Nothing. None of this matters to that.

Back in the 90's Dimethylglycine was supposed to be a wonder supplement for mental disabilities like autism, ADHD etc. My Brother has a daughter who is autistic and he was a true believer.

I hope this one pans out better than the DMG did.

edit: Hopefully this is a topic both sides can find consensus on.
