Pretty reckless on the presidents part because there are people from his nutty wing that still believe there is fraud, even Michigan. Very dangerous.

The truly sad part is that there are people in this country who believe guns can overturn ballots. There are a number of countries where this is the norm. The United States is not one of them.

This whole landscape is so bizarre, nearly to the point of comedy. We have one group who spent two years insisting the election of 2016 was totally illegitimate due to sophisticated attacks from foreign powers now claiming there isn’t an ounce of fraud. Then we have a group that spent two years mocking the first group for not swallowing the hard pill that they’d lost fair and square and fraud was not a significant factor in the outcome, today claiming the vote is totally corrupted by powers unknown.
Everyone’s completely swapped sides and apparently forgotten that we did this dance before. Is this the new thing? Losers just cry foul to save face, right or left?
There was definitely some election fraud, as there always is, likely divided between the two candidates in proportion to the popular vote, and unlikely to be enough to matter. To suppose that one party is alone and (somehow) supremely capable of executing such a scandal is just laughable. Anyone on the right pushing this.... you sound just like the left did when they were pushing their bs Russia narrative. Remember how absurd and desperate they sounded? That’s you now.

Not quite equivalent. Democrats in 2016 did NOT allege fraud or vote tampering. The allegation was that Russia tried to influence our election, which has been confirmed by CIA and FBI. That is a long way from accusing an entire political party of stealing the election, with zero credible evidence.
I think you forget the prevailing narrative at the time. We called him illegitimate, and every major left-leaning news network was speculating on the ties of money, the potential Russia had leverage on him, the claims that he owed money to foreign powers... I read Muller’s report and it showed Trump was the unscrupulous border-line ****** the left expected, and it showed some frankly unimpressive social media efforts to entrench people further into echo chambers, but frankly that was going on before and has continued without their help. The narrative was that the election was stolen, and that didn’t pan out. Then the message pivoted. It’s very much the same here. Lots of speculation without evidence, based on little accounts and coincidences, like we had with the “Russia meetings in Trump tower” and so forth.
It’s hard to see the bubble from inside the bubble, but if you can break out and step back, the similarities are striking.
