When the citizens of this great nation show that they are becoming comfortable with the idea of mass surveillance for any and all reason, mostly because people have been feminized into seeking security over freedom, then our nation and this grand experiment in individual governance is coming to an end. Like the late Walter Williams has said, individual freedom is not the natural state on planet Earth. Throughout history, most forms of human government were tyrannical against a populace.
Official immunity cards would 100% help the economy. Businesses could decide whether or not you're worth the risk of serving, just like having a CDL proves you can drive an 18-wheeler. Though I don't think the government should discriminate, or keep a database.

I used to carry my draft card for 20+ years.
I do carry my driver's license (enhanced and Homeland Securiy approved) and I have a quick pass for airport travel.
My doctors ask me for driver's license and Medicare Card, EVERY time.

I think "we", as Americans, can't conceive of Nazi type laws. I only believe it is possible because of Revelation in the Bible.
