Why is it that Democrats spend so much effort pandering to and empathizing with criminals, rather than their victims? Is it all to score votes, or to they actually feel that much in common with them?

Gotta save all the manpower to arrest those who dare try to live their lives like a normal person.

This guy was DA in 'frisco for eight years and completely destroyed the city. Now, with Soros heavy financial backing, he will do the same to LA...

This is a good move imo! Police abuse this way too much as it is.

Ive always believed there are some instances were people SHOULD in fact, resist arrest, there are times when its the appropriate course to take, better to just resolve it right there on the spot.

Simple: criminals in many of these Democrat cities are black and brown and because the Left/Democrats have a racial narrative they are promoting, hence their defense of criminals.

This new Soros funded DA also wants to get rid of special circumstances on certain crimes. And is sending monitors to courtrooms to make sure assistant DAs are following his directives. He didn't want special circumstances applied to a man who decapitated 2 children. Same for a 3 time DUI offender who killed a person on his last dui. The prosecutors applied them on the dui case anyway.

Apparently those not complying are told to report to his office for discipline.
