Asians have been wearing masks for decades for a variety of reasons. One of those reasons of course is to protect others from coughs and sneezes. It`s a courtesy thing.
Maybe in Japan.
But in countries like China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, wearing face mask is to protect yourself from smog and dust especially if you are riding a moped or scooter.

It's all about the UBI. The pandemic was just a way to get there quicker. Let's face it, in just a few short years every single job will be automated completely 100% by robotics. No one will have a job anyway. The economy you speak of will need to be completely revamped to reflect modern values which put all on equal footing. The plan is to have everything reimagined like criminal justice, housing, how we heat and cool housing, transportation, education, food, etc. This is necessary if we want life on Earth to survive. We need to reverse climate change and these measures will help that as well. You have to evolve and forget life as you know it and get used to a new normal. I know this frightens many right wingers, but I think many will enjoy all the government benefits coming their way and never want that taken away.
You realize, don't you that "money" is simply a medium of exchange? It's used for transactions for the exchange of goods and services. To say you don't value money over life is like saying you don't value food over life. How long will there be life if you can't get food?
The comment was far too dark to be conjured up from weed. It came from a place of fortified, rot-gut cheap wine or perhaps some prison mash. I can guarantee nobody puffing on a reefer comes up with talk that crazy*.

Don't be so sure. If they can find a way to "control the people" (which is one of their goals) they will do it.
How will this "control" work? I hope it doesn`t look like slavery because I`ve always been against that.
