Previously, I had predicted that instead of directly picking George Floyd, Time editors would do the safer thing and nominate the entire movement and protesting group than individuals. And also previously, I had picked that whatever was associated with this racial 'woke' movement would get the honors.

But with the resurgence of the coronavirus, makes for some stiff competition.

I don’t care who they choose, I never read the time magazine .

So now conservatives pretend to care about frontline workers? After refusing to support the HEROES ACT which funds them.

My Time magazine is going right in the garbage then. Honoring Biden simply because he could barely read a tele-promoter? Harris only because she was born with a certain skin color and gender?

I'm so disgusted with the liberal media this year. They done as much harm as anyone in the covid fight by click bait headlines to destroy Trump and cause fear.

I think frontline medical staff should have been the pick. If you look at the history, in the last 30 years, the president elect has been the person of the year every time except for 1996. why the president elect gets to be person of the year doesn't make any sense to me.

Joe and Kamala haven't even done anything because they haven't taken office yet!!! Time chose them all because of all the comforting statements they made, i.e. PC, feel-good, impossible to achieve statements on empathy/kindness/unity that every new president would've said to make themselves look good after President Trump.

It should've been a tie between frontline and medical workers(fauci excluded). But to name another pos 'professional' politician for what again.

But shows how strong his lobby is because one doesn't even get nominated unless they get the right or enough requests. The DNC probably had a letter writting campaign going.

Gag.

So many that put their lives on the line very day to keep our communities, hospitals, and neighborhoods safe.

We just lost a 25 five year old police officer this afternoon in Mount Holly, North Carolina who responded to a break-in in progress. He would have been 26 in just 2 days. I have a son around that age. This officer lost his life trying to keep his community safe. Where is his magazine cover shoot and honor?

All of the first responders that put their lies on the line in various ways, every single day, for FAR LESS COMPENSATION AND COMFORTS then these two career politicians receive in money, benefits, and "perks". They will live their lives safely protected from the reality of the evils that exist in the "outside" world.

And these two are the "person" of the year? For what? What have they done? For you, for me, for our families, for our country, tell me WHAT have they done? What have they sacrificed? Absolutely nothing.

NONE of the politicians should be "person of the year" Not Trump either They mean nothing, they do nothing, they are totally irrelevant, and so is TIME.
