I wonder if we’ll get a vaccination card like my daughter got for school once we get the shot. Then people who show the card won’t have to wear masks when they go into businesses. Or employers may require the cards as a condition of employment.
I have been wondering this myself. The HAVE and the HAVENOTS ........ which makes me a little concerned since this is being handled at the state level, and the “rules” for vaccination may be different depending on which side of a line you live in. Saw this with testing already and not too impressed.

But...we're talking about vaccinating 15 times as many people, with a vaccine recently developed, in far less time than any vaccine in history, with minimal testing and no long-term studies of side effects. Given the number of people involved, serious side effects in even a low percentage of cases, can have a far bigger impact than Covid itself.

Frankly I care more about our rights than I do about your parents. They don't make good hostages for this debate. You relish in making the lives of people who don't follow your orders difficult, well that sort of crap can come back to haunt you something fierce.
This sort of mandatory violation may be legal but it remains a violation of people's rights. The vaccine would remain available for those who want it even in the absence of such draconian mandates. It would even be available to those parents of yours who you wish to make others suffer for so you can save them from a disease that they would have a 95% chance of surviving even at their age. If they choose not to take it, it's not your place to promote the oppression of others in order to force their hand. If they don't care what you think why should the rest of us?

Your rights don’t include mandatory vaccines for those who do not want them. It goes both ways.

It's going to be tough. A lot of people are wary of this vaccine because of all the politics around covid. When government and their media apparatus tell people not to attend weddings, go to bars, church, walk on the beach yet give a pass to those "protesting," rioting and celebrating Biden*s "win," people are likely to be distrustful.
