I work with a guy that said his father has been living with and coping with respiratory problems for 50+ years from being in Vietnam. He caught Covid and died within 2 weeks. But some still say he didnt die from the virus.
COVID is a respiratory disease, usually attacking the lungs first and if you have COPD or lung disease, you have a lesser chance of surviving.
No, not really. It's clear that people in care homes are dying of Covid, often under tragic circumstances isolated away from their families. It's also clear that they need a vaccine. Why add to the confusion and suspicion?

well its not that simple. he died from the virus complications due to comorbidity. but not for covid, he could still be alive. but having a prior issue makes some of us sitting ducks.

here the biggest doom n gloom masters are NBC. it litterally uses more negative scare tactics than you can process with each sentence. i can feel my chest tighten as i watch it. then i go out for a walk and ill be darned if the sky is still up there where it belongs. shameful
You're ignoring the fact that people who are already sick and weak die faster because the virus just weakens them even more allowing what sickness they already have to kill them faster.
As will the vaccine, so no, I was not ignoring that. People that are sick and weak would die faster from either the vaccine (and why do they want to give it to the elderly first) just like they do from COVID 19. I don't see why we should not be alarmed by people dying as a result of the vaccine vs dying from COVID 19. In both cases, the people are dead. Dead is dead. Oh, when people said one death from COVID 19 was one death too many (the cry of the liberals complaining about Trump not being able to stop the pandemic), the libs were all patting one another on the back over such a profound statement, but now, we have "Don't be alarmed if people die from the vaccine." Why not in this case "one death is one death too many"? I can tell you $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

There is no evidence that elderly nursing home patients will die faster than they would otherwise because they get the vaccine.
If by some chance that happens, it will be readily apparent.

The covid vaccine should be as safe as any other vaccine. The issue has and has always been that vaccines do illicit a response from the body whenever they are introduced into the body. In this case, there's a chance you may experience 104-105 fever for a day before it goes away. If you are extremely old and frail and have health issues i can actually see some ppl dying from this.
