If the election was stolen, why didn't the Trump campaign try to argue this in court?

Kelly McEnany came down on the Supreme Court for failing to address the "merits" of the case. The case had no merits. I'm sure that smart-mouth ***** impresses the justices with her worthless opinion. They all have lifetime positions and hers expires in a few weeks. They came through for the United States and not for Trump, as he very wrongly had schemed would happen.

I wonder what vague language Trump supporters will listen to next to get them fired up..."It goes higher than imagined!" "Who will be brave enough to do something about this?"

Will trumpers ever figure out they’ve been lied to about everything for the last four years? Probably not.

More likely they just won't speak of it after the full realization hits

Trump Earlier on Friday:
Quote:
“If the Supreme Court shows great Wisdom and Courage, the American People will win perhaps the most important case in history, and our Electoral Process will be respected again!”
Friday Evening:

Quote:
“The Supreme Court really let us down. No Wisdom, No Courage!”

Trump cancelled a party he was to attend Friday night.

Sure it's over, talk about a campaign in complete denial.

Quote:
Mr. Trump’s campaign did not immediately issue a statement. In an appearance on the conservative network Newsmax soon after the decision was announced, Rudolph W. Giuliani, Mr. Trump’s personal lawyer, said that the campaign’s legal effort would continue, insisting that his team had originally planned for “four or five separate cases.”

"Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another state conducts its elections," the court said in a brief order. It dismissed all other related claims as moot.

The justices' action clears the way for electors to convene in 50 states and the District of Columbia Monday and all but confirm that President-elect Joe Biden will be the nation's 46th president.

Texas had made, and Trump had endorsed, an 11th-hour effort to have the nation's highest court block Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin from casting their electoral votes for Biden Monday. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton claimed the four states used the coronavirus pandemic as a pretext to change election rules and greatly expand mail voting in violation of the Constitution.

Supreme Court denies Texas effort to block election results in 4 states, sealing Trump's fate

The entire piece is worth reading.

The headline is a bit melodramatic but that's par for the course.

I'll be a tad dramatic right back by making the claim that Trump 'sealed his own fate' by his denialism re: the pandemic.

& Texas 'sealed their own legal defeat' by not having a fact-based legal argument, & by its ideological denialism re: the pandemic.

Finally, if original jurisdiction is allowed, this type of litigation will crowd the Court’s docket every four years. Given the global pandemic, many States were forced to modify their election process, including mail-in voting procedures. Texas did.7 And most, if not every, state has been sued during this election. Texas has. See e.g. Hotze v. Hollins, 20-20574, 2020 WL 6440440, at *1 (5th Cir. Nov. 2, 2020); Pool v. City of Houston, 978 F.3d 307 (5th Cir. 2020); Richardson v. Texas Sec’y of State, 978 F.3d 220 (5th Cir. 2020); Texas Democratic Party v. Abbott, 978 F.3d 168 (5th Cir. 2020); Mi Familia Vota v. Abbott, 977 F.3d 461 (5th Cir. 2020); Texas League of United Latin Am. Citizens v. Hughs, 978 F.3d 136 (5th Cir. 2020); Texas All. for Re- tired Americans v. Hughs, 976 F.3d 564 (5th Cir. 2020). And like Pennsylvania, Texas has prevailed in a large majority of these challenges. But if such failed or frivolous lawsuits are sufficient to raise a question about the integrity of a state’s election—as Texas argues— then such an action could be filed against any state in every presidential election.

Statements like that go to show how far gone the Trrumpies are.

And you're surrounded by them in MO.

There was fraud and cheating bar-none.
I would fight it if I were Trump too.

Whatever the outcome is what the country deserves for better or worse. I see a lot more of the worse.
IF the Biden POTUS becomes official, my index finger will get practicing flickering my lips.
Then I will DEMAND $2K/week from the government - income equality you know.
