So the Supreme Court unanimously dismissed the Trump challenge led by Ken Paxton. Unanimously. In a 6-3 republican supreme court.
Then this yahoo Allen West, GOP chairman of Texas, calls for the states backing the supreme court challenge to form their own union.
I would like to see him charged with treason, and if found guilty, executed as the law requires.
Enough of these sore losers trying to break up our beloved country. We didn't put up with it when Benedict Arnold did it, and we shouldn't put up with it when Allen West does it.
This kind of behavior is more threatening to the United States of America than anything Hussain or Bin Laden did.

But it also never explicitly forbids them from leaving and that is key in our legal system. The 10th amendment states the following: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
If the founders intended for secession to be forbidden, they would have said as such in the Constitution.
But as my post above says, I think a constitutional convention should be called for by the states to address the division.
Once again, it doesn't matter if secession is specified as being against the law, there is no viable way to make your state recognized. If it were easy then I would definitely advocate for splitting it up California in to 10 or 12 new states, each with two democratic senators
