A medical conference in Boston in late February is linked to as many as 300,000 cases in the US, 51,000 in the Boston area alone. This was probably late enough that the doctors should have cancelled the conference. President Trump had suspended flights to China February 2. The conference was on February 26 & 27.
Hindsight is 20/20, but even medical people made questionable decisions.
The whole cases thing is a con and scam, but you can bet many of these same doctors hypocritically promote Covid theater i.e. shutdowns, masks, distancing

No matter how many times this is repeated it's not making it true. There was a ban on entering the US for foreign nationals who have been in China in the 2 weeks prior to travel. That's all. Now, various US air carriers did stop their flights but they did this on their own. Later, when China banned flights from US, the administration banned flights from China sometime in mid June if I remember correctly.
Not surprising I remember ready a study years ago about an experiment at a major Hospital which gave the employees the power to order Doctors to wash their hands if they noticed them going to treat a patient without doing so. If I remember infection rates dropped drastically. Tells you to speak up if a Doctor comes into your or your loved ones room and you don't see them clean their hands immediately open your mouth.

Except this wasn't a medical conference for doctors. It was a leadership conference for executives of a biotech company.
