Why do you equate Trump supporters being in lock step with the Republican Party? It’s a fact that many Trump supporters actually hate quite a few Republicans just as much as they hate Democrats.

Pffft. The GOP backed Trump to the hilt. Every. Step. Of. The. Way. Up to and including this ridiculous Texas lawsuit.
I was a reliable GOP voter until the Trump clownshow rolled into town.

and any mix of the above. but it seems all lefties love hating trump more than they care about the country. not a joyous whisper about biden on these boards, still, its just 24/7 trump/voter bashing. i dont expect it to end soon.
In their desperation, they turned to a man they didn't fully understand.
Truthfully, just about any Republican candidate would have beaten Hillary Clinton in 2016. They didn't need him at all.
But true to his parasitic behavior throughout life, he bored into the host organism that was the GOP and consumed it from within. And when it becomes no longer useful to him, he leaves it a depleted husk.
And a lot of idiots in the Republican Party justified supporting him. What fools.
As someone once wrote, "When somebody is telling you who he is, believe him."
I never did think Trump was particularly "republican." It was a convenient alliance. But generally speaking, besides a few republican congressmen who the bulk of the republican party think are "extremists," my opinion is that the republicans are shameful, spineless jellyfish, for the most part.
Problem is... we only have two bad choices--the choice between spineless jellyfish or authoritarian collectivists. Well, at least the spineless jellyfish aren't out to destroy the country. Problem is, they are not out to do much of anything. They certainly will not prevent the country from being destroyed by the left--because they are spineless. THAT is why Trump made it to where he did. He gave a voice to half the nation--the disenfranchised and disenchanted half. An alternative to eventual socialism/communism that the republicans have never had the balls to stand up against.

We're trying not to rub it in too much. Well..some of us. But I had a really nice cider yesterday in celebration.
Once again, being totally all out devoted to President Trump does very strange things to one's mind, soul, and spirit. I feel well blessed that I was never gullible and foolish enough to fall for Trump. He had me lost forever ever since he said during a 2016 debate with Republican primary candidates that wages are too high. I knew then he couldn't have the working man at heart. He was really very much pro corporate. He was far too controversial with me in 2016 in other ways as well. For further for instance, Trump couldn't even run casinos without going bankrupt.
