I assure you that a doctorate at a decent school is much more rigorous than your 3 years of part time studies.
How could you be on this thread for days and not know Jill doesn't have a Ph.D ? She has an Ed.D, which is 3-4 years part-time and doesn't require a dissertation.
Women have to do this to keep from being called kiddo, sweetie, or missy. I knew a woman who was given an honorary doctorate and she wanted to be called Dr. because women don't get the respect they deserve just for their intelligence. This issue is proof of that.
I think that the tempest over the Dr. title just shows how stupid and ill-informed Trumpers and right-wingers are.
