You’re letting your disdain for Catholics, and by extension all people of religion, show.
Not really. I just call a hypocrite a hypocrite.
The vast majority use their religion when it suits them. I know you’re not a full catholic... you’d be more willing to help the needy if you were. Another example was woman I was seeing for a bit a couple years ago. I knew she was a bit... on the easy side who went on a rant about how catholic she was. You can’t pick and choose what teachings you follow is my point. It’s all or nothing if you want to claim to be fully invested in it.
It’s fine to be a catholic in name only Rachel... most are... just own it is my point. Don’t hide from it.
I think the question the OP posed was simply will he be the only President to attend church regularly since Jimmy Carter. I believe that's the case. And speaking of which, he may not have been the best president we've had, but he's probably the best person, in terms of his humanity, to fill that role in my lifetime (meaning Jimmy Carter).
So a Godly Christian will be ok killing a innocent baby?
It has become clear to me that for most of the religious right, the only political thing that matters to them is one particular issue.
Did you not know there are many other issues besides abortion?
For example, Jesus also says we should not divorce our spouse except in cases of marital infidelity. But I don't see a lot of people on the religious right going around (anymore) saying we should make divorce laws dramatically stricter.
