The one thing they can't overcome is death. And they better hope that their atheist philosophy is correct. Otherwise, as they say... there will be hell to pay.

Yes. Rather morbid, but I share your sentiments. I am not quite a senior yet, but not far behind. I get so sick of this stuff. Especially when I can see it happening right before my eyes. Sometimes I think living 100 miles from nowhere out in the middle of the desert or tundra with zero communication would actually be relief and probably a blessing. But, no doubt, even that wouldn't be far enough away from some of the things that are on the horizon for our fair nation.
Most of us know by now that "The Great Reset," like how everything is "socialism," is actually just code for "everything I dislike" and "the things that the opposition wants."
So, great. Awesome stuff. Really looking forward to it. Bring on "The Great Reset."

Thanks for posting the corrected link and I did read/scan ALL the listed companies' plans for the future, but frankly, I saw nothing alarming. MOST of the companies were focused on (1) improving opportunities for blacks and giving them other kinds of assistance, and (2) taking measures to improve the climate (such as reducing carbon emissions).
And regarding "owning nothing and you will be happy", I even saw that Bank of America posted the following: "Bank of America is committing to address barriers to affordable homeownership by providing $5 billion through 2025 to help more than 20,000 individuals and families purchase a home." (My italics and emphasis.)
So, although I am NOT saying that there is nothing to worry about, nothing I have read has raised any alarm bells with me -- so far, anyway. (But I will be reading future posts about this subject and will attempt to keep an open mind!)
Oh, and btw, regarding one of the posted videos on this thread, Prince Charles is looking as old as his mother, imo!

keep in mind that Covid has no lasting implications for over 99% of those who get it. There is no crisis. The crisis has been the reaction to it, and of which is nothing more than an excuse to confiscate wealth and consolidate control.

You do know that the death rate is about 1.8% of those that are infected. That leaves much less than 99% with very significant impact, they are DEAD. And analysis of death rates vs normal year show that the overall death rate is about 36% higher than what is attributed to COVID. This does not even take into account long term health impacts or other issues to those that survive this disease.
Bottom line; try as people like, you can not change those optics. And Frank is right. The crisis, has been the reaction to it, never before done in the history of these united states, or any where else in the world for that matter.
I've researched (govinfo.gov) the u.s congressional records of 1918 - 1919 (that was a tedious task) for anything and everything concerning the spanish flu. The only anomaly I found was that they assigned the, dept. of education, the task of investigation into its origins. What the people did to manage, they did on their own, the government did not put their hand in it 100 years ago. But they did this time and here we are ---

People will bury their heads in the sand. This topic is overshadowed by discussion of the pandemic. Even though the reaction to the pandemic is the reason for a huge shift in the dynamics of our culture --- this isn't the 60s any more.
This type of fear mongering is as regular as clockwork by extremists when their side loses and election, it has happened from both sides every four years and they are always wrong.
It's basically a coping mechanism. You have come to grips that none of these desperate court cases are going to overturn election results you don't like so you're resorting to a preemptive told-you-so where you feel better thinking everyone will suffer for not having the same political choices as you on election day. Don't believe me? Go look back at the history of this forum 4, 8, 12 years ago.
