I have a bet with a friend that she will leave him now. I wouldn't doubt that she voted for Biden in hopes of not having to spend another 4 years with Orange Man in the WH.
He's done, the RINOs will try to repackage the parts of his agenda that are vote getters. Then we will hear the cries he'll pull votes from the Republican. But there definately needs to be third and fourth party. The establishmnt parties don't have to go but should not be the only game in town either.
In October, Trump made clear he would sign a stand alone bill for a $1500 stimulus. Mitch could not pull enough votes together to make it happen and give Trump a much needed edge in November. Had Mitch been able to make it happen, it would have increased the likelihood of a Trump win.
Trump lost interest once it became obvious it was not going to benefit him.
Fast forward and Trump calls for $2000 stimulus. Again, Mitch can’t pull enough votes together to make it happen.
Mitch might actually be relieved to no longer be the majority leader.
Oh, he LOVED being majority leader, and I'm sure he hates to give it up.
But I'm also positive he's glad he doesn't have to deal directly with trump anymore, I wonder how many times he woke up grinding his teeth at night.

No, really, he should run. They'll be burying him in a piano case before 2024 if he doesn't start.
The best place for him to run would be to one of our borders. Unfortunately, he`s not welcome in Canada or Mexico. Kim or Putin can take on the job of feeding him.
His fans are not enough votes to get him elected. All he would do is insure another D win.
