Not sure what you’re whining about.

The article says twitter shut it down when they noticed it.

It was trending because people were tweeting sentiments of "Oh my god, they were chanting Hang Pence, that's terrrible!"

(Unlike the angry mob chanting it after they erected a scaffold and noose).

Teensy tiny difference.

The article (https://www.zerohedge.com/technology...iting-violence) says the Twitter wants healthy tweets, and the response is:

"Healthy discussions, like this tweet from Kathy Griffin, featuring her infamous photoshoot with a severed Trump head effigy."

"While the phrase “Hang Mike Pence” apparently began trending because of a viral video from the Capitol riot showing protesters chanting the phrase, many believed Twitter letting the phrase trend at all was hypocritical following the company justifying banning Trump over bogus allegations that he incited violence."

What kind of standard do they call that?

I'll take "MAGA still doesn't know how to read for $100, Alex (RIP)"

You know they only go on headlines. Only a matter of time before the rest of the geniuses hop on here and talk about how poor widdle Twumpie Wumpie is being picked on.

He din du nuffin.

From the article

"Twitter eventually noticed the term trending and blocked it and variations from trending.

“We blocked the phrase and other variations of it from trending,” a Twitter spokesperson told Fox News.

“We want trends to promote healthy discussions on Twitter.”

I don't think "Hang Mike Pence" is any big deal. When the French trespassed the Bastille they chopped everybodies head off.

I clicked on it when it was trending because I thought "OMG." But then I read the tweets associated with the hashtag and it was everyone saying "OMG, they wanted to hang Mike Pence" and then proceeded to show Lin Wood's Parler tweet where he encouraged his followers to do so. Tricky job Twitter has. Ban an offensive hash tag that, ironically, takes one to data about how horrible the deplorables were for wanting to hang Mike Pence?

We are talking about trumplettes, the bottom of the barrel. Comprehension beyond headlines is foreign to them.

You post this acting like the left cares about the double standard...they do not. They only care about their own power and will do anything to maintain it if it was up to them conservatives would all be gone from society and it would be one party rule. It would end disasteriously but it would take that happening for them to realize why authoritarians are bad and checks and balances are good ... I opposed the trump takeover in principle because regardless of whether you think the election was stolen you lack proof...and you can't just unilaterally ignore our laws... And I got news for ya...close elections have been rigged as long as we've had a country.

You really need a comfortable lead to "win" elections.
