Suzy... really? Lol
You are way out of touch with reality when it comes to this particular subject.
She's not out of touch based on my experience.
I live in a small town where the hospital has about 165 beds. There are two general surgeons. One of them does not have a great rep.
Whenever anyone in my family has needed surgery, we always ask for the other one even to the point of having him called in. They have always accomodated us.

What if the bad surgeon gets the vaccine and the good one doesn’t?
Good luck with that. I really mean it.
You realize that nobody is required to disclose any personal medical information about themselves to you, a patient. Besides, if you only knew everything healthcare workers are exposed to on a daily basis it should be enough for you to never want to return. And that is not even counting Covid.
If a patient sits in our ER and demand to only be cared to by Nurses etc that could prove they had the vaccine, they will literally laugh at you. You will be one of those patients...
Anyway, What do you expect to see, their vaccination card?
You have no clue what is going on, do you?
I dont envision having to ask at a hospital when the time is right. The hospital's policy will be known. And, I seriously doubt doctors with individual practices will refuse to disclose their policy.
Who cares what a gaggle of nurses are laughing about anyway? My only concern is getting the care I want.
So you’re in the hospital and need a life saving surgery and you find out the surgeon hasn’t gotten the Covid vaccine and you’re going to insist that surgeon to be removed from your care? lol, ok.
It must be exhausting to live in a world where the obvious has to constantly be stated to you and/or you expect everything to go 100% as anyone wants it to go.
So, stating the obvious to you, if I need surgery to save my life in that moment, I will be stuck with whatever surgeon they have.

Majority of surgeries dont happen like that.
Actually, what I find exhausting is living in a world where everyone has to bend to those who expect others to keep them safe from covid.

I dont expect that to happen.
But, if it did, there are multiple options depending on the circumstances and whether the patient is myself, husband or 86 year old mother including whether or not we have been vaccinated.
There are 4-5 other larger towns around me with multiple hospitals.

Yes but, one major problem with this surge is it is surging in most states and not just a handful where we can pull hospital workers from or send to other states to get them the best care.
Wikipedua says moderna has the backing of darpa. Even more scary.
