Had Hillary won in 2016, how would Covid have been handled?

I don’t think there would have been a pandemic if Hillary had won. If so, it wouldn’t have been hyped to level we’ve seen.

Media would have carried water for her and declared the whole thing a natural disaster during which Hillary took the exact same actions as Trump, but she would be awarded a medal.
Then she would lose to Trump in 2020 and declare the electoral college invalid.
Then Trump would put her in jail.

It would have never materialized... Or have you not been paying attention.

Probably the same way H1N1 was. In other words nothing done. Travel from the country of origin never restricted. 65 million Americans infected in a few months. Thankfully, that was not nearly as lethal as Covid. If it were, and if we had 65 million infected rather than 17 million, we'd be looking at 1 1/4 million dead right now, not 300,000.

What difference, at this point, does it make?

She wouldn’t have disbanded the cabinet-level pandemic response team....

The fundamental response steps would be similar, the area she would have handled better and where Trump failed is his messaging.

Yeah it probably would have went down exactly the same except the media would have fawned over her response and she’d be given a Nobel Prize for it.
I can only imagine what the last four years might have been like if we still had a legitimate press in this country.
