I wanted to start a thread with some input as to ANY possible things that will happen over this next 12 months that may allow us to recover from our depressions, lack of work, poor economic outlooks, healthcare outlooks and more. Please do come forth with any things you think are possible to happen that will improve our lives for real over this next year.

I think the vaccine rollout is going to help start on the path to a lot of things eventually picking back up. It may be a slow go at first, but it should pick up some steam as time goes by.

Take the vaccine especially if your older or compromised. Check on your neighbor, goodwill towards each other helps depression. We should see a lowering of Covid counts in the next year. Once people get back to work things open the economy will get better.

I can't think of any. Aside from self imposed travel restrictions everything is fine with me.

Your depression is not a national ailment.

What will be better? only time tells us that, same thing as what will be worse. Everyone's crystal ball is cloudy except a politicians. My guesses below

the good

1.We will have vaccinate everyone who wants a vaccination by the end of the year
2. Less fighting/war in the Middle East
3. Air quality will continue to improve
4. Lower unemployment
5. Lower medical costs

the bad

1. Taxes will increase
2. higher inflation
3. Nation more divided
4. More social upheaval
5. Crime rates soar

Already, the nationwide "cases" of COVID is taking a bit of a plateau, and even a tiny dip down. Deaths are still on the rise, and if the number of cases continues this decline, it's very likely the deaths will also begin to decline.

And this awfulness will be behind us.
