But why? If they don't want to take the vaccine, that's their choice. ...
It is irresponsible.
People become carriers ... they become incubators for new strains.
Maybe it passes from you through another person and does not harm them, then through another then another ... no one is harmed. Then someone catches that same strain that passed through you and has their lungs scarred for life, or even dies. Those are preventable tragedies.
Or maybe somewhere along the line it mutates or recombines, becoming easier to spread or more dangerous ... you or I could have stopped that mutation right then, when we had an opportunity to take a vaccine ... and all of the people after us were spared: the mutations didn't happened, Billy Bob's lung scarring didn't happen, and someone's kid or grandpa didn't die.
All for a simple shot ... a free inoculation you or I could take. So much tragedy could be avoided.
It's fascinating to watch so much of the country oppose taking a vaccine. I'm inclined to think the result will be a major self-own for those people but am willing to find out by letting them not take the vaccine in a self-selected study to see the results.
This is inaccurate as well. The predominant #s of people worldwide are wanting the vaccine.
With my employer, 10,000 people have received the vaccine.
About 20% of those tested positive for CoV19 prior to being vaccinated. Most of these people returned to work after 3 weeks. Most recovered completely in 2-3 months.
There were no deaths.
Of the total persons vaccinated no infections or reinfection have occurred.

There will be endless masking, social distancing and testing requirements unless we admit that there is nothing we can do to ultimately stop it. Nature will run its course.
No vaccine provides 100% protection.

Viruses mutate because that’s what they do. The flu shot is reformulated every year and occasionally within the flu season based on projections of the combination of emerging variants. Some variants die off while others are aggressive.
Viruses are constantly mutating within the US and worldwide. Reportedly there are more mutuins in Florida than elsewhere in the US.
The B1526 and B1427/9 variants are commonly referred to as the NY and California variants, because those are the locations first detected. They are more transmisssble than the first virus.
So long as Covid spreads there will continue to be new variants.
