Times certainly change, and so does the manner of communication between politicians.
At one time (not to long ago) people respected those we voted in to serve us.
Now they seem like a bunch on back alley gang members when communicating with one another.
All dignity is out the window.
It is absolutely disgusting.

OP, you have GOT to be kidding. Where have you been the last five years? You think your hero trump is a decent man? A dignified man?

Spot on. Trump has been really nasty but Newt really is the one that gave the GOP the first taste for blood.

It's not just the politicians who have become uncivil to one another but the supporters of them also. Just reading this forum everyday tells me how ugly, mean and childish some people are when it comes to their political beliefs.

It started when the DNC told hillary and the rest of that bunch to step aside, we've got a black messiah to send to the throne. All downhill from there.

Maybe you should also look at how he has been constantly attacked by left. If I were attacked that way constantly I would be defending myself and retaliating to especially since a lot of the cruel attacks were unwarranted and filled with spin and lies.

It started to get sick after Goldwater lost in 1964. 15 years later Lee Atwater smothered what was left with a pillow.

Regardless of who may have started this downfall in respectful communication, it is high time this filthy language between supposedly sane people , stop.
The entire world is tuned into what goes on in the political arena in this country, and with this kind of language being broadcast through out the world, it makes it look like our ruling government is mad up of street thugs, and nothing more.
