1) Why do black parents send their kids to top schools if they don't have the intelligence to compete fairly? Not fair to the kid, let alone other students.

2) Why would any self-respecting non-black send their kids to a racist schools such as this?

The demands made in this manifesto, that the faculty have been forced to sign on to, are so over the top and unreasonable, I think the intent is to cause division and/or for the authors to test their power by seeing just how far they can push the envelope and still make people comply.

I'm a liberal and deeply despise these neo-marxist hijackers. I long for the day when black people will figure them out and turn on them with a vengence.

If you are asking the question in earnest...
The level of instruction, Breadth of classes, access to resources including Scientific and computer labs, sports, music, the arts, college counseling, Lifelong alumni network, Class trips, financial support is beyond what you have experienced in jewel lake. Even if you are at the bottom of the class - and someone by definition has to be- is amazing to be able to access this type of education.
If your student is admitted because of talent and requires scholarship, count yourself extremely lucky.
Sure, tell your kiddo not to attend and go instead to the public school down the block where you have to go past the metal detectors and watch their back in the restroom and there isn’t an advanced class to be taken - that would make you not only very stupid but not a very good parent. The outcome of your student, in terms of earning potential and future career, would be much better having graduated from dalton. But you do you.
You sound like a super smart guy and maybe your kiddo will set the world on fire by either way. The odds however are not great.

America has an incredibly unhealthy obsession with equality.

There are cognitive and intelligence differences among the world's racial & ethnic groups. These differences cannot be erased through school curriculum and will not be erased by punishing other groups for being more successful.

This actually says that they want upper level courses dropped if black students on average do more poorly than white students. Are we lowering to the lowest common denominator?

I am willing to bet that most of the top achieving students are NOT White. They said Black vs. non-Black, not Black vs. White. Most elite private schools in NYC are dominated by Asians.

That is incorrect. Most are white, by a very large majority. Asians are no where near a majority at private nyc elite schools.
Where did you come up with that?
I would not make that bet.

This sick. This Antiracism stuff has taken over all of public and secular private schools in NYC. Catholic schools are all that's left from the anti racsim hive mind virus. If these people feel bad about black and brown people. Not far from Dalton are predominantly black and brown housing projects. If you feel bad for blacks. Just dump your wallets, your pursues, investment founds, buy blacks homes and college education and call it a day.

Then I wonder why many of the catholic schools are closing due to poor enrollment?

Untrue.
There are however profound cultural differences and nuanced parenting differences, that are the actual culprits in the scholastic disparity between groups.
