Tell that to children who rely on facial expressions to learn more about social interactions. Or Those who wear glasses, go to the gym, workout, run, etc.
Wearing a mask isn’t a big deal, if you’re sick or work in the food industry.
If you’re neither, it’s downright idiotic.
Or the hearing impaired who rely on lip reading, poor folks.
Our town has a small but loud COVID Cult who managed to bully the city council into reinstating a local mask mandate back in August. Good thing is majority of people and businesses around here ignore it.
Otherwise, we have no other restrictions in place currently, and there thankfully doesn't seem to be much interest in doing so at the state level.
Good, passive civil disobedience is a powerful tool to end the face diapers.

I checked around near me a bit ago - the gas station had both unmasked customers and staff - not even a chin strap. The gym was moderately busy, not a mask in sight. The employee setting out the menu board for the cafe next door - no mask. I checked the grocery store - about 80% masked all around. Employees are supposed to wear a mask, but apparently the style doesn't matter (chin straps.)
Keep in mind we're in a brutal surge with 10-15% out sick at the moment.
My area is still in the Apex of a high volume of cases. Only places complying with mask and social distance is my bank and my employer..
People are being decent though. Well most are. Those that are wearing them voluntarily aren't hurting anyone.
After visiting my neighbor with her needed meals, I have a better understanding of her desire to improve her health. She is on day three of the infection.
My state is a working diligently to maintain profits for business so that folks can complain more in public. . That's the new normal. Complain more .
They've been gone where I live since April 2021. I think the County briefly made a fuss about masks or something during Delta, but no one followed it outside of schools and medical facilities, so it was dropped.
I don't know or care if there is currently a mask mandate, but I no longer see the silly signs about masks anywhere I go. The Reddit crowd, however, has gone bat**** crazy about killing Grandma or something, as usual.

Curiosity gets the best of me every now and then, and I'll click on a COVID thread when on Reddit. Holy cringe lol; it's almost like they still think it's March/April 2020.
When do you think the mask mandates and the limits on social gatherings will end where YOU live? I mean totally lifting all limits in group size meaning you can host a large wedding, convention, or any public event indoors without any distancing requirements.

B) Sometime between January and April of 2021
C) Sometime between May and August of 2021
D) Sometime between September and December of 2021
E) First half of 2022
F) Second half of 2022
G) 2023 or later
H) Not in my lifetime
Already ended a while back!
