Considering that Trump, all his lackeys and children are all potential super spreaders I would say she is on the top priority list. There isn't a more dangerous covid hot spot in the country than the white house.

"AOC" = "critically essential"

Exactly. She is an attention hog and acts more like a wannabe youtube star than "professional" politician.

Language matters. It would be one thing to refuse because you are afraid of it, it is another when you ask for someone else to get it first who needs it. Yes there are some people who would blast her, but I think a solid majority of both parties would not if she requested someone else who needed it more to get it.

Unless she is changing Nancy's Depends and giving Pat Leahy sponge baths, I don't see how it is ANYWHERE close to the risks a healthcare worker takes.

AOC pretends to know more than anyone else everyday. It is her raison d'etre. She may not set the priority, but there is nothing to say she HAD to accept it.

Trump is actually President. Not just some TV reality person, but that hasn't stopped the Left from referring to him as such repeatedly.

Yes, because clearly she is in poorer health than Trump who took 3 days to beat it.

how do young congress members like AOC get to the front of the line to get the vaccine ahead of 80 year old nursing home residents who are overwhelmingly statistically the most likely to die from covid?

That’s Rahm Emanuel’s influence. Like any good socialist (or Communist), he sees “worker bees” as having value to society, and retirees’ lives of little worth. Resources will be allocated accordingly.

He actually wanted ALL elderly at the end of the line - after all “productive” people had been jabbed. The decision to put 75+ in Phase 1, and move the 65 - 75 year-olds to a low priority, was a compromise.
