As COVID-19 cases skyrocketed before the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Dr. Deborah Birx, coordinator of the White House coronavirus response, warned Americans to “be vigilant” and limit celebrations to “your immediate household.”
And then
Quote:
The day after Thanksgiving, she traveled to one of her vacation properties on Fenwick Island in Delaware. She was accompanied by three generations of her family from two households. Birx, her husband Paige Reffe, a daughter, son-in-law and two young grandchildren were present.
She's a hypocrite and should be called out. Of course, unlike some folks on the left who are imposing actual lockdowns and other restrictions, Birx not following her own advice is on a much lower level than some of the other stuff we've seen.
How do you know she didn't have everyone tested? I'm sure she can access the resource. I have a friend who had a Thanksgiving get together and obtained rapid testing for every guest. It wasn't cheap. Some people were offended even at the idea and choose not to come.
We were told by Fauci not to visit with anyone outside of our immediate household. Period. No one else.
