Like Tucker Carlson says when one of his guests says "well it's republicans too" is..."I DON'T CARE WHAT PARTY THEY REPRESENT"...because Tucker gets it. Leftists have been running this country, and running it into the ground, since 1965. ANd just because a Leftist puts an "R" next to their name, doesn't mean they are conservatives (or care about this nation).
There are endless shades of conservatism and liberalism.

I am as politically agnostic as they come. There’s not much difference between the parties.

That's the problem...they are all Leftist, globslist, anti American, ANTI NATIONALISTS.

They hate American solidarity, hence why they lied to us when they passed the 1965 Immigration Act, changing this nation so radically, racially, that this nation will never have nationalistic tendencies ever again...leaving them to continue their ponzischheme, bilking every nickel out of this nation while it rots.

The problem is the "pork" was because it was from the omnibus spending bill. For those of you that don't already know, the omnibus spending bill to keep from a government shutdown had the Covid-19 stimulus agreement added to it. I would say that is to reduce the floor vote time but part of me wants to think it was a way to get the conservatives who typically vote against spending outside of the omnibus like Sen. Paul and Sen. Lee to possibly vote for it.

What the actual hell are you talking about? You do realize the only communism fought was China? Trump was rather kind with North Korea despite a rocky early start. I love how everything Democrat is called Communist now. It shows a complete lack of understanding of what Communism really is.

This the budget that was being prepared for some time. The stimulus funding was ADDED to it -- not the other way around.

Small but significant difference.
People knew about the spending and so did Trump. Trump hasn't attacked the spending, just the size of the stimulus checks. Perhaps Trump doesn't actually care about the spending. Maybe he does and is using the stimulus checks as his way out.

No I really don't think that is the case. At least one that would pass both houses of Congress due to the way that the talks went in the Senate. Remember, Ron Johnson and Rand Paul both disagreed with the $1,200 stimulus. Does anyone seriously think that they would approve the $2K stimulus?

You must be talking about multi-millionaires Biden, Obama, Sanders, Pelosi, and Harris. Yup, they don't give a damn about you.

There's a reason your stimulus check is $600.

Please don't tell us McConnell or Trump actually cares about people who are in dire straights right now. As long as those in power can keep the 99% of us infighting over R & D they will continue to screw us over.
ALL OF THEM.

The Trump Admin submitted the proposed budget for fiscal year 2021 back in early February. Fiscal year 2021 began this past October. Congress did not act on it. Every proposed budget includes foreign aid. This one was no different.

Congress did not act on the proposed budget."
A little clarification, the president submits his budget proposl and EACH HOUSE does the same.
When a compromise budget EACH house accepts, it is passed on to the president

Someone asked earlier and I don't know if it was provided, so here it is.

Will some of our friends on the left explain how ANY of these thongs should be included in a "stimulus" package meant to help those suffering financially from the covid virus?

What DOES ALL of this have to do with the Virus????

> Make sure you try and count the 000000000’s!
> Behind your little $600 check.... relief check you will receive:
>
> 1. $300,000,000 for Migrant and Refugee Assistance pg.. 147
> 2. $10,000 per person for student loan bailout
> 3. $100,000,000 to NASA, because, who knows why.
> 4. $20,000,000,000 to the USPS, because why not
> 5. $300,000,000 to the Endowment for the Arts - because of it
> 6. $300,000,000 for the Endowment for the Humanities/ because no one even knew that was a thing
> 7. $15,000,000 for Veterans Employment Training / for when the GI Bill isn't enough
> 8. $435,000,000 for mental health support
> 9. $30,000,000,000 for the Department of Education stabilization fund/ because that will keep people employed (all those zeros can be confusing, that’s $30 BILLION)
> 10. $200,000,000 to Safe Schools Emergency Response to Violence Program
> 11. $300,000,000 to Public Broadcasting / NPR has to be bought by the Democrats
> 12. $500,000,000 to Museums and Libraries / Who knows how we are going to use it
> 13. $720,000,000 to Social Security Admin / but get this only 200,000,000 is to help people. The rest is for admin costs
> 14. $25,000,000 for Cleaning supplies for the Capitol Building / I kid you not it's on page 136
> 15. $7,500,000 to the Smithsonian for additional salaries
> 16. $35,000,000 to the JFK Center for Performing Arts
> 17. $25,000,000 for additional salary for House of Representatives

> 26. $40,000,000,000 goes to the Take Responsibility to Workers and Families Act This sounds like it's direct payments for workers pg. 164

Government is due for a shutdown, what they should have done is a separate bill just for the virus. They combined it together with the bill needed to avoid a shutdown.

The outrage over why this is in a virus bill, end of year, congress that can't work together. It isn't a left or right issue, they were trying to get something done, which should have been done months ago.
