Isn’t it obvious? It was those Trump rallies! Not to mention Desantis’ lax restrictions

LA is surging because the underclass doesn't follow rules and is still hooking up, partying, dancing and slutting it up. That's what happens in SoCal.

Idon’t think failure to comply is limited to “ the underclass” whatever that term means.

Indoor drinking and dining at restaurants/ bars has been closed in my state due to surging infections and hospitalizations. This surge began in the upper Midwest, the Dakotas, and spread.

I am about 45 miles NW of Chicago. Best I can tell, most independently- owned ( as opposed to national chains) are open for business as usual. The parking lots demonstrate some places are packed.

There are incidents of hotels and country clubs hosting large parties/ wedding receptions etc.

In the city, it is common to rent a basement or storefront or empty factory for a night. Parties are promoted on social media. Hundreds show, pay a cover charge and cash bar.

No shortage of people are hosting gatherings in their homes. They seem to assume familiarity = immunity.

And the Covid spreads. I have lost track of the number of people I know who have become infected and became

Right now, the infection rate per capita is lower than ND with a population of 40 million, the state has the potential to exceed the ND peak.

Restrictions are only as good as the number of people willing to comply.

How very noble of California to finally admit lockdowns don't work after 12 months.

Will the state be reimbursing its residents in 12 months of lost wages?

California: another failed liberal experiment.

Liberals don't follow rules and policies? How shocking.

Lets continue more lockdowns until the rule breakers learn their lesson.

I want to know what criteria they are using for hospitalization. It appears not much. How does a hospitalized covid patient have enough energy to beat a man to death with an oxygen tank.

https://abc7.com/covid-19-patient-ki...eaths/8993951/

Was his test even a true positive?

It's California, the sniffles are enough to get you hospitalized.

We all knew this was going to happen but liberals just didn't care.

The lower classes of people tend to live with more people, have more kids and tend to get together more. And those people are in SoCal and all over the country including the midwest. And all people do that to some extent hence our current situation.

Clearly closing restaurants and other businesses that are doing all the safety protocols is meaningless in stopping the virus but works very well in putting businesses out of business and people into unemployment.

More fake news. There is no surge. It's impossible. Masks have stopped covid in its tracks. Whatever the question is, masks are the answer. The Sturgeon Genital has recommended having at least twelve on your person at all times in addition to the one covering your jib, and several crates at home.
