I wonder if the cops gave them the long winded speech about why Marijuana is EVIL, or how it comes directly from the devil, or how it will make them go insane? LOL

How proud our Puritan ancestors would be of these two cops!

Ever known anyone killed or maimed by someone driving while impaired? I'd guess not. I don't care what people do as long as it doesn't affect others, but if they were on the road endangering others then they should be arrested and have their license revoked. The cops pulled them over for suspicious driving, the car smelled of weed, and they just happened to find marijuana in the car; all because they are black.

Suspicious driving my ass.

Those random stops heading down to Florida are usually due to drug trafficking.

And, also as per usual, I'm pretty certain the couple aren't exactly telling the entire truth. I'm not saying the cops are being 100% truthful or revealing everything that happened, but I tend to believe their account as it pertains to them resisting arrest (their vehicle was not registered and was legitimately stopped).

At any rate, GoFundMe again, to the tune of over $37K (out of a $30K goal).

Maybe they were so mellow from the pot they were going 25 MPH in a 70 MPH zone?

Drugs are illegal due to the 'morality' aspect...thats one of the main reason drug laws were originally created, even going back centuries...they were made 'illegal' because the church thought they were evil substances....thats why they are illegal today too, (but they dont go around giving this as the reason), its become necessary to disguise it with 'concern for safety'.

What would you call a person that refuses to OBEY unconstitutional laws?

Technically...that is 'patriotism'.

Google names like Dennis Drue or Diane Schuler if you want to see the harm that drugs. and alcohol which is legal, can do when they are combined with the person using them trying to operate a motor vehicle at high speeds. All least Schuler killed herself along with the other people she killed trying to drive the wrong way on the Taconic Parkway. Thankfully, Drue has been denied parole every single time he's come up for it.

You'd make a great NC cop

" Black couple has baby taken from them after traffic stop"

Do what does their race have to do with it, and why did you lead off with it?

( your link would not open)

Are you concerned with the baby being taken or them being black?

Marijuana is technically legal in NJ, the voters decided that on Nov. 3, but apparently there is legislative stuff to still work out.

Interesting, one of the arresting officers is black.

Also, they STILL don't have custody of their baby. Usually CPS won't take custody of a child away from bio parents for something as minor as misdemeanor marijuana possession. This case smells funny.
"]The deputies smelled marijuana as the car drove by? I don't think so", then you don't know much.
