If you call yourself a "conservative" and are cool with 30 million illegals in the country, you aren't a conservative at all.
where rational conservatism/liberalism comes into play is how we treat the 30 million. Go get the ones we can and ship them back. we don't have to hunt them down like sinners and whores. Its ok to let people in. Its not ok to let they in unchecked and make others pay for them and their children. It is ok to kick the water jugs over in the desert to stop them from making it across. And its ok not to feel good about it at all. In fact, it makes us sick and kick it over again.

Forget the foreign influences, like the CCP. We have enemies living within our midst, like George Soros. He's a US citizen, but he still conspired to plan this year's social unrest. There were genuine peaceful protesters in our cities, no doubt. But Soros shipped in piles of bricks and sent in the riot inciters, to trash our downtowns and scare conservative citizens into staying home, further damaging the economy.

Koch Brothers, Soros's conservative counterparts, are far from perfect. But they would never do something as heinous as he did.

When I was in Utah, it was mostly white people doing the jobs in restaurants and even hotel cleaning.

Coming from California, I was shocked lmao...

Same in Switzerland. And many more things have 'Made in Switzerland' labels.

Well, how did those pallets of bricks end up there? Why were they dropped off in downtown areas where no construction was going on? How did the looters know they were supposed to take the bricks, rather than bring their own tools? And why were U-Haul trucks parked right next to the looted stores?

The liberal rabbit hole goes so deep, it reaches the Earth's core.

Now, for balance's sake, conservatives aren't above crime. But at least they'll stab you in the front.

Well I think that is just plain wrong.

I would disagree. "Progressives" (as opposed to classic liberalism) have never been "free spirited", let alone all accepting. They have always embraced power and authority-under the condition that that power is in their hands. They have always wanted others to bow to their will. They have insisted on centralized power to strip the earnings and wealth of those have earned and produced it. They have insisted on centralized power to determine who to distribute those seized assets to. They insist on power to suppress opposing views, to ensure that their opinions are the only ones that are heard. They insist on power to manipulate and brainwash the general public-in the form of our educational institutions and media. This has been going on for at least 60 years now. It's not new-what IS new is that they are the ones that have that centralized power and authority, and have for the last 10-20 years.

Socialism requires totalitarianism to implement. It requires centralized force to seize the property of unwilling victims. It requires force to determine who "needs" it-and who must produce with no rewards. It is a form of involuntary economic action. AKA slavery. Capitalism is by definition the voluntary exchange of goods and services, as well as labor. There is no force, no coercion involved. Employees are free to accept the terms of employment or leave at will. They are free to start their own businesses should they so choose.

The only flip-flopping I can see is liberals/progressives used to be more into conspiracy theories about the shadow government (CIA, Homeland Security, etc) than they are now, whereas many/most conservatives (if you can still call them that) these days believe conspiracy theories more than what can be proven as fact.
Mostly a good post, but for the last paragraph.

Cons used to be for:
Smaller government
Fiscal responsibility
Personal freedom
America
Hard work

Flip-flopped on these, and many others.

Are you saying that liberals now support these values? Not even slightly!

They like the government control.
They throw money at everything.
They lock the country down.
They burn Bibles and topple statues.
They expect constant handouts.
