President Trump way ahead of his time! Sadly half of our fellow idiot citizens can’t see what a great president trump has been!

We discovered that it is quite simple to kill the coronavirus using LED bulbs that radiate ultraviolet light,” said Prof. Hadas Mamane, head of the Environmental Engineering Program at Tel Aviv University's School of Mechanical Engineering, who led the study with Prof. Yoram Gerchman and Dr. Michal Mandelboim.

It's not hard to kill COVID-19. Heck, a WWII flamethrower will do the trick. The problem is to do so without also killing the patient.

This isn’t new. The Silver Diners put in the UV lights last summer, and I’m sure many restaurants did. That might be why only 2% of infections are caught from indoor dining. (It’s a travesty that Democrats are shutting down restaurants again.)

The virus is mostly caught from home gatherings, where these UV lights aren’t used.

It's a shame that social media mocked Trump so badly over his comments about UV that he felt it was useless to keep doing the daily briefings since it ended up being a "let's put Trump on trial" media frenzy.

Sad that we just couldn't come together to fight this crisis because liberals refused to let go of their Trump hate for once.

Talk about desperately clinging to straws! Scientists have known about the properties of UV light since the 19th century. Did Trump suddenly discover the long known effectiveness of UV light against pathogens all on his own during his downtime between hysterical tweets? If so, I don't recall him making any announcement in this regard. It was an Israeli scientist, not Trump who showed that UV can kill the coronavirus along with every other virus and bacterium out there. Big whoop.

Sadly, about 40% of our fellow idiot citizens worship the charlatan in chief as if he were God and end up embarrassing themselves with fake newsflashes such as this one.

The HVAC industry has been selling UV lights for air returns for 25 years.

We had them installed to help with allergies. Problem was, they couldn't keep the lights working. And they had to be installed in such a way as to not be seen. The installation process was a problem. The UV turned on and off every time the HVAC did. The bulbs didn't last.

If the technology is better now, will do it again. If you are considering it, use your heavy duty rat hole.

They justifiably mocked him for stating the obvious that anyone with any knowledge of sanitizing inert objects has known for 50 years or more.

UV lights have even been used in residential water treatment systems for at least that long.

Trump issued his silly reference to it during discussions about the 'intra-personal' transmission of a viral infection. All of this nonsense in an environment fully aware you can even kill the virus localized upon your person by the simple task of washing your hands.

Are we now going to be subjected to moving conveyor belts at the entrance of every venue so that we are exposed to UV lighting for the required time? Further; are we going to have to disrobe to perform this little irrelevant, supposedly revelatory missive from Trump, that literally most of the world has been aware of for at least the aforementioned fifty years.

Gee, who among us, other than the high IQ Trump, knew UV light and Lysol, along with hundreds of other benign things like soap and water actually served to kill virus/germs?

Let's all give credit to he who states the obvious and ignore as conspiratorial the ones preaching the practical.

When we got a new unit, air handler & coffin box we had a UV light installed. We also did an aeroseal after having the ducts cleaned. The UV Bulb is replaced once a year and I don't even have to get inside the system to do it. Stays on all the time and I can adjust the intensity by toggling a knob on the UV device housing that's on the outside of the handler.

Scientists or a 10 year old. Have also known that if there is a pandemic in another country. You should limit travel to that country. But not Libs

But when Trump did this. The simple minded Libs complained and actually encourage people to go out more. In the areas that had the most people from that country.

The war on Trump was more important to them.
