There was some valid points about the disenfranchising of black votes, but I don't think counting black votes twice is the key. Biden won in part because of turn out, and that included the high turn out of the black vote. So we see that the system does work when people are engaged, so it also shows that double counting is not needed.
The problem lies with the electoral college, and I can see where some adjustment is needed. I was pleased to see zero faithless electors this cycle going against the will of we the people. There is something wrong with a system that allows people to vote for a president that does not align with the vote cast by the constituents.
I'm also glad that the supreme court unanimously upheld laws across the country to remove and or punish rogue delegates who refuse to cast votes for the delegated candidate. There's something wrong when ten electors in 2016 voted for candidates which were not pledged. Seven of which successfully cast faithless votes.
Is our voting system perfect? No it's not. Lets just fix that instead of doing something radical like double counting votes.
Obviously the electoral college needs to be abolished but instituting de jure racism clearly is not the answer.
The best chance for eliminating the electoral college is the popular vote compact.

Now that "equity" of outcomes has replaced equal treatment of individuals as the goal, this is the absurdity that results. What would it really take to give blacks, as a group, equal outcomes with non-blacks? Double votes? Immunity from arrest? Guaranteed admittance to universities and hiring? There's no telling how far these demands will go or how mainstream they will become.
It's due to the ideology of Antiracism. If white illiberals and black thought academics want what is best for blacks. They shoudo do armed resistance and turn Georgia and South Carolina into a black nation. Giving blacks double vote count will just create more problems for America and give democrats more power and might lead to civil war. Again.
